Bhindi curry

Bhindi curry-
A really quick recipe made out of basic ingredients

I usually cook this recipe for my inlaws( less masalas and less oil). This recipe takes very little time to cook as the main step is to boil the bhindi till it is cooked.Bhindi with gravy should be properly cooked so as to get rid of the slime out of the bhind.
Lets see some simple steps of the recipe.

1. Cut and slit the Bhindis. Slice onions, green chillies. Cut tomatoes in small pieces.
2. Put a tsp of oil. Add jeera and let it splutter. To this add Onions, chillies, some curry leaves. At this point add the Bhindis to it. (Dont wait the onion to turn brown)
2. Add Turmeric powder and salt. Let the bhindi cook for while..remember to cook the bhindi till the slime disappears.
3. Add the masalas..my secret masala is Sambhar masala, add chilli powder and coriander powder.

Keep stirring till the raw smell of the masala disappear. Add tomatoes. At this point all the ingredients binds together which gives out a great aroma. Bhindi tastes great at this point but we need to add water as we are cooking a curry recipe.
4. Add required water and maximise the flame till the curry comes to a boil

. Now cover and simmer till the oil comes on top...my favourite part....nothing really looks more tempting than to see the yummy gloss on the top of the curry.
